Delicate Woods
Engaged in the design and manufacture of wood pieces, Solantu Company, is the result of years of investigation on native woods in Cholila, province of Chubut. On the basis of work carried out with certain wood species, Silvia Gold y Hugo Sigman started to research on the properties of maiten, ñire and radal, and made plantations with the purpose of learning the process of growth and development.
After a year and half, they discovered the virtues of each of these species and the best way to work with them, which gave rise to a delicate group of pieces highlighted by the finishing quality and a high design level, as the cuencos illustrating this text.
The company products are designed by local and international artists such as Federico Churba, Patricio Lixt Klett, Federico Novelis, Diseñoveral and Cristian Mohaded, who create exclusive collection pieces.
